Cooperative Care Class

Nail trims, haircuts, giving meds and Vet visits should not be a struggle.  Cooperative care is teaching dogs to be willing participants in their own grooming and medical care. In class we will work on skills including nail trims, Dremel, scratch boards, Vet exams, ear cleaning and meds, eye drops, tooth and hair brushing, muzzle training and more. This class can be great option in addition to Puppy Kindergarten, or Basic Obedience/Household Manners classes any many require no previous training to enjoy these classes!

  • Prerequisite: Puppy Kindergarten or Basic Obedience class, or instructor approval. Must be safe and comfortable with other people and dogs around. If dog is not comfortable in the class setting, private training is available.
  • Age requirement: all ages
  • Duration: 8 weeks; class meets 1 hour every week on the same day of the week and time as the starting date of the class.
  • Location: Puppy Love Training 14675 Wellborn Rd. inside America’s Country Store
  • Price: $200 incl. training materials, some additional items might need to be purchased by owner.
  • Class Size: Limited to no more than 6 dogs.
A visit to the veterinarian can be a potentially stressful situation. This class prepares you and your dog to have the most stress-free experience possible by learning and practicing helpful veterinary exam skills!
